Galenos, Ebu Bekir er-Razi ve Farabi’de psikoloji ahlak ilişkisi

Abstract

Galenos, Ebu Bekir er-Razi ve Farabi düşüncesinde ahlak, insan fizyolojisi ve psikolojisi ile yakından irtibatlıdır. Ahlakı irtibatlı olduğu alanlardan bağımsız incelemek metodolojik bir hataya neden olmaktadır. Fizik-psikoloji-ahlak bağıntısı tarih boyunca çeşitli aşamalardan geçmiş ve bugün bir çözülmeyle yüz yüze kalmıştır. Psikoloji ve nörobilim alanında yapılan bazı çalışmalar bu bağıntıyı tekrar kurmaya odaklansa dahi sadece bir yönüyle konuyu ele almaları açısından bu çalışmalardan yeterince tatmin edici sonuçlar alınamamıştır. Söz konusu tez bu bağıntının kurulabilmesi için gerekli olan tarihsel süreç ve süreklilikleri bu alanda önemli olan Galenos, Ebu Bekir er-Razi ve Farabi üzerinden incelenmektedir. Tarihsel süreçte bu bağıntının geçirdiği önemli evreleri incelemek bu bağıntının yeniden düşünebilmesine imkan sağlamaktadır. Tez boyunca ele alınan üç isim de bu bağıntı için kilit isimlerdir. Galenos bu bağıntıyı sistematik olarak ele alarak, Razi iradeye de yer vererek, Farabi ise bu bağıntıda nübüvvetin yerini belirleyip toplumsal bir boyut kazandırarak bu bağıntının işlerliğini kazandırmışlardır. Her bir düşünürün tevarüs ettiği geleneği nasıl derinleştirerek dönüştürdüğünün incelenmesi bugün bu bağıntının yeniden nasıl ele alınacağına dair ip uçları barındırmaktadır. ----- According to Galen, Abu Bakr ar-Razi and Farabi, indeed the ethic is strongly connected with human physiology and psychology. In fact, analysing ethic without taking the related sciences into consideration causes a methodological errors. The relation of physics- psychology-ethic has gone through various stages throughout history, however today it is facing a dissolution. Even though some studies in the field of psychology and neuroscience have focused on re-establishing this relationship, satisfactory results have not been obtained from these studies due to the fact that the disciplines still address the object with their own perspectives. In order to shed light upon the issue, the thesis examined the historical processes and continuities through Galen, Ebu Bekir ar-Razi and Farabi in order to establish this relationship. Examining the important phases of this relation in the historical process shows us to rethink this relation in the modern context. All three names discussed in the thesis are considered as the key names for this relation. Galen handled this relation by formulating in systematic way, Razi included the faculty of will into the system, and lastly Farabi made this relation work by determining the place of prophethood and giving it a social dimension. Examining how each thinkers deepened and transformed the tradition that inherited signifies some clues in order to reconsider the connection today.
