Translation Project On Machine Translation Expectations
Abstract
In this translation thesis project, an evaluation was made about the introduction of machine translations into the lives of human translators and their effects on workflows. The study includes the translation of the article titled What to Expect from Neural Machine Translation by Joss Moorkens. It is aimed to eliminate the negative perceptions of translators about machine translations with the translation of the article. At the same time, it has been tried to show that machine translation actually helps human translators. In addition, all translation processes and evaluations about these processes are in the commentary section. İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi Senatosunun 22.06.2020 tarihli ve 2020/14-5 sayılı Açık Bilim Politikası gereğince amborgo uygulanmaktadır. Ambargo süresi dolduğunda erişime açılacaktır.
