Beş Hececilerin Şiirinde Ortak Edebî Tür: Şiir-Hikâye

Abstract

Faruk Nafiz, Yusuf Ziya, Enis Behiç, Halit Fahri ve Orhan Seyfi Türk Edebiyatı tarihinde ortak bir şiir hareketi içerisinde değerlendirilmişlerdir. Şiirlerinde kullandıkları hece ölçüsünden hareketle bu şairlere Beş Hececiler denilmektedir. Ancak pek çok eleştirmen sadece bu beş şairi kapsaması nedeniyle Beş Hececiler ismini hatalı bir gruplandırma olarak görür. Bu çalışmada Beş Hececiler adlandırmasının sadece kapsam bakımından değil kuramsal açıdan da sorunlu bir yaklaşım olabileceği fikrinden hareket edilerek şairlerin bir arada değerlendirilmesinin asıl sebeplerini belirlemek hedeflenmiştir. Bu amaçla beş şairin şiirleri metin merkezli bir yöntemle incelenmiş ve şairleri bir arada tutanın, Behçet Necatigil tarafından şiir ile hikâye arasında bir ara tür olarak belirlenen şiir-hikâye edebî türü olduğu görülmüştür. In history of Turkish literature, Faruk Nafiz, Yusuf Ziya, Enis Behiç, Halit Fahri and Orhan Seyfi were regarded to have taken part in a collective poetry movement. Due to the syllabic meter they used in their poetry, they are named as Five Syllabists. Many critics howeverdisregard this naming on the ground that it only refer to the aforementioned five poets. In this study, the idea that the naming of Five Syllabists might actually be a problematic not only scope-wise but also on theoretical grounds is taken as a vantage point, and the study is purposed that identify the main reasons why these poets were considered in the same poetry movement. For this purpose, the poetry of these five poets were examined by the text-centered method and it was seen that the literary genre of poem-story, which was specified as an intermediate form between poetry and story by Behçet Necatigil, was holding the poets together.
