Platon’un Politeia diyalogunda siyasi tartışma sahnesi ve siyasi eylem olarak felsefe

Abstract

Bu çalışmada siyâsetin felsefe ile olan bağı üzerinde durularak siyasî eylemin mahiyeti irdelenmiştir. İrdelemeye başlangıç noktası olarak Parmenides'in Peri Phuseus'u seçilmiş olmakla birlikte, Peri Phuseus'un ortaya çıkış koşulları da mercek altına alınmıştır. Dolayısıyla mitler, tragedyalar ve bunların akabinde ortaya çıkan düşünce okulları da –Parmenides'in felsefesini etkilemesi bakımından- konu edinmiştir. Ancak çalışmanın merkezinde yer alan isim Platon'dur. Platon'un diyaloglarına bahusus Politeia'ya, hem siyâset ve felsefe arasındaki ilişki hem de siyasî eylemin mahiyeti ele alınırken mürâcaat edilmiştir. Çalışmayla, yeni bir Peri Phuseus ve Politeia yorumu ortaya koymak amaçlanmamakla birlikte Peri Phuseus ve Politeia'nın yeni bir okumasının yapıldığı söylenebilir. Çalışmayla amaçlanan siyâsetin kendi başına değil, felsefe faâliyetinin bir alt sahnesi olarak var olduğunu göstermektir. Siyâsetin kendi başına var olduğunu kabul eden tavır sorunsallaştırılarak, işbu tavrın açmazları anlatılmış ve bu bağlamda yeni bir tavrın geliştirilmesi gerektiği fikri üzerinde durulmuştur. Siyâsete yönelik bu yeni tavır, "siyâset, felsefe faâliyetine tâbidir" ve "siyasî eylem nazarî faâliyete taraf olmaktır" tezlerinden hareketle geliştirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Platon'un, Sokrates'in ağzından savunduğuna kanaat getirdiğimiz "ayrıcalıklı bir nokta-i nazarın siyâsette esas alınması gerektiği" düşüncesine göre yaşamayı arzulayan bir vatandaşın, bu görüşün kabul görmediği bir siyâset sahnesinde siyâsete katılımının, bu itibarla, ancak nazarî bir faâliyet üzerinden gerçekleşebileceği görüşü savunulmuştur. ----- In this study, the nature of political action is examined by emphasizing the connection between politics and philosophy. While Parmenides's Peri Physeus was chosen as the starting point for the analysis, the emergence conditions of Peri Physeus were also scrutinized. Therefore, myths, tragedies and the schools of thought that emerged after them were also examined in terms of their influence on the philosophy of Parmenides. However, the name at the center of the study is Plato. When the relationship between politics and philosophy and the nature of political action were discussed we have consulted Plato's dialogues, especially the Politeia. Although the study is not intended to reveal a new interpretation of Peri Physeus and Politeia, it can be said that a new reading of Peri Physeus and Politeia has been made. The aim of the study is to show that politics does not exist on its own, but as a substage of philosophy. The attitude that accepts that politics exists on its own is problematized, the dilemmas of this attitude are explained, and in this context the idea of developing a new attitude is emphasized. This new attitude has been developed on the basis of the theses that "politics is subordinate to philosophy" and "political action is to be a party to theoretical activity". As a result, the participation of a citizen who wishes to live according to the idea that "a privileged point of view should be taken as a basis in politics", which we believe to be defended by Plato from the mouth of Socrates, in a political scene where this view is not accepted, the participation of this citizen in politics can only be through a theoretical activity.
