Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığına bağlı gençlik merkezlerinin yaygın din eğitiminde yeri : İstanbul ili örneği

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığına bağlı İstanbul ilindeki Diyanet Gençlik Merkezlerindeki faaliyetlere katılım sağlayan kişilerin beklenti ve memnuniyet düzeylerini incelemeyi amaçlamıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan betimsel, karşılaştırmalı tarama ve olgu bilimsel araştırma yöntemleriyle, katılımcıların ilgili merkezin dinî ve din eğitimini destekleyici faaliyetleri ve eğitimlerine yönelik beklenti ve memnuniyetlerini objektif bir şekilde belirlemesi hedeflenmiştir. Araştırma konusu seçiminde, yaygın din eğitimi literatüründe bu konuya dair herhangi bir araştırmaya rastlanılmaması belirleyici olmuştur. Araştırmanın örneklemi, on iki farklı Diyanet Gençlik Merkezinde çeşitli faaliyetlere katılan 155 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket ve gözlem formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen anket; araştırmaya katılan katılımcıların cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim durumu bilgilerini kapsayan ve katılımcıların Diyanet Gençlik Merkezleri faaliyetlerinden memnuniyet ve beklentilerini belirleyen sorulardan oluşmaktadır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 22.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılmıştır. Katılımcıların demografik bilgilerine ve Diyanet Gençlik Merkezlerinden memnuniyetlerine dair maddelerin frekans ve yüzde dağılımları çıkartılmış ve alt boyutlar kendi içinde değerlendirilmiştir. Katılımcıların ilgili merkezlerden aldıkları hizmetler konusunda memnuniyet düzeylerinin cinsiyet, yaş ve merkezlere göre farklılık analizi yapılmıştır. Farklılık analizi için parametrik test koşullarını sağlayamayan maddelerle ilişkili iki alt gruplu değişkenlerde farklılık analizinde non-parametrik testlerden Mann-Withney U; diğer maddelerde ise Independent Samples t Testi kullanılmıştır. Üç ve daha fazla değişkenli alt gruplu değişkenlerde ise parametrik koşulları sağlayan maddelerde One Way Anova; bu koşulları sağlayamayanlarda ise Kruskal Wallis testi kullanılmıştır. Farkın kaynağını tespit için Anova testinde Tukey HSD testi kullanılmıştır. Bu bulguların, Diyanet Gençlik Merkezi yöneticileri ve organizatörleri tarafından faaliyetlerin daha etkili ve katılımcı odaklı hale getirilmesi için dikkate alınabileceği düşünülmektedir. ----- This research aims to examine the expectations and satisfaction levels of the participants who participate in the activities of the Religious Youth Centers in Istanbul province affiliated to the Presidency of Religious Affairs. It is aimed to objectively determine the expectations and satisfaction of the participants towards the religious and supporting activities and trainings of the relevant center with the descriptive and comparative survey and phenomenological research methods used in the research. The choice of the research topic was determined by the fact that there is no research on this topic in the non-formal religious education literature. The sample of the research consists of 155 people participating in various activities in twelve different Religious Youth Centers. A survey and an observation form were used as data collection tools in the research. The questionnaire which is developed by the researcher consists of questions covering the gender, age, educational status of the participants and determining the satisfaction and expectations of the participants from the activities of Religious Youth Centers. SPSS 22.0 statistical package program was used to analyze the data. Frequency and percentage distributions of the items related to the demographic information of the participants and their satisfaction with the Diyanet Youth Centers were extracted and the sub-dimensions were evaluated within themselves. Participants' satisfaction levels with the services they received from the relevant centers were analyzed according to gender, age and centers. Mann-Withney U, one of the non-parametric tests, was used for difference analysis in variables with two subgroups related to items that did not meet the parametric test conditions for difference analysis; Independent Samples t Test was used in other items. In subgrouped variables with three or more variables, One Way Anova was used for the items that met the parametric conditions; Kruskal Wallis test was used for the items that did not meet these conditions. Tukey HSD test was used in the Anova test to determine the source of the difference. It is thought that these findings can be taken into consideration by Diyanet Youth Center managers and organizers to make the activities more effective and participant-oriented.
