II. Abdülhamid’in hususi mektup ve telgrafları

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Sultan II. Abdülhamid'in siyasi-politik gelişmeler ışığında kendi kaleminden çıkmış mektup ve telgraflar ile diplomatik kişiliği açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Sultan II. Abdülhamid sancılı bir süreçte tahta geçmiş, dahilȋ ve harici meselelerle ilgili yoğun mesai sarf etmiştir. Siyasi ve politik meseleleri tek elden yönetme stratejisini hedefleyen II. Abdülhamid bu anlamda Yıldız Sarayı'nı devletin bürokratik merkezi haline getirmiş, iç ve dış meseleler ile bizzat ilgilenmeye çalışmıştır. Bu bağlamda uluslar arası ilişkilerde ince diplomasi yolunu elden bırakmadan özellikle birçok devlet liderinin özel ve hususi günlerini kutlamaktan ve böylece onlarla yakın bir ilişki kurmaktan geri kalmamıştır. ----- In this study, Abdülhamid's diplomatic personality has been tried to be explained in the light of the political and diplomatic developments of the period. Sultan II. Abdülhamid came to the throne in a painful process, to spend intense time on related issues. He aims at the strategy of managing political issues from his own hands. In this sense Abdülhamid made Yıldız Palace the bureaucratic center of the state and tried to deal with internal and external issues personally. In this context, she did not hesitate to celebrate the special and special days of many state leaders and thus to establish a close relationship with them, without giving up the fine diplomacy path in international relations.
