dc.description.abstractThe article of my choosing pertains to actor-network theory and its relationship with studies of international relations, and whether the theory can simply be translated into international relations or would need adjustments. The paper mainly consists of three discussions. First is the discussion of how actor-network theory conceives the problem of translation. The second part is related to the relevance of actor-network theory to international relations. Lastly, the author discusses how the field of international relations can challenge actor-network theory. After the aforementioned discussions, the author puts forward the claim that translation of actor-network theory into international relations can only be done with significant difficulty. He does, however, advocate that actor-network theory can be of significant importance...en_US
